Surat Thani Railway Station

Surat Thani Railway Station is probably one of the busiest train stations in Thailand. Travellers wishing to visit Koh Tao, Koh Pha Ngan, and Koh Samui use Surat Thani as a gateway to these islands. Most tourists take the train from Hat Yai to Surat Thani, or the train from Bangkok to Surat Thani. This railway station is located in the Phunphin District of Surat Thani province.

Ticket counter

Next to Surat Thani Railway Station, there is a taxi service station for arriving passengers to go into Surat Thani Town. However, the taxi service may prove to be costly to travellers.
