1. Check in at Lomprayah office
We checked in early at Lomprayah office at Bangkok Khao San Road to choose our preferred seats. Seat selection was during check in, therefore early check-in passengers have the advantage in choosing preferred seats.
2. Dinner at happening Khao San
After check in, we left our luggage at Lomprayah office and then walked around Khao San for our food haunting. Khao San has diversity of food choices. You could easily find the local Thai food, Japanese food and Western food in Khao San.
3. Gather at Lomprayah office
We gathered at Lomprayah office at 8:30pm to get ready for boarding. Just 10 minutes before 9:00pm, Lomprayah staffs led the group of passengers to the boarding point. In short while, we saw the arrival of Lomprayah buses.
4. Ready for Boarding
We passed our luggage to Lomprayah staffs for storing in luggage compartment and boarded the bus according to pre-arranged seats. At 9:00pm sharp, the bus left from Bangkok for Koh Tao.
5. Stopover for body stretching
After few hours journey, the bus stopped at a food corner for break. We checked the time, it was 2:00am in the morning. Most of the passengers went for toilet and body stretching after 5 hours journey. Those who would like to have some bites could order from the food stalls.
6. Transfer at Chumphon Pier
At about 5:00am in the morning, we arrived at Chumphon Pier built by Lomprayah. Benches, and WiFi are available at the pier for passengers while waiting for Lomprayah Catamaran High Speed Ferry.
At about 7am, we were called to board the Catamaran High Speed Ferry. The Ferry was comfortable with air conditioning and spacious seat.
7. Relaxing in Catamaran High Speed Ferry
The Catamaran High Speed Ferry departed at 7:30am. We were relaxing throughout the ferry journey because it was stable even though moving through the rough sea.
8. Finally arrive at Mae Haad Pier Koh Tao
At 9:30am, we finally arrived at Mae Haad Pier in Koh Tao. Many tuk tuk and taxi are waiting at the Jetty to transfer guest to hotel.
